Architect and Entrepreneur
Jürgen Grossmann is the brains and locomotive guiding the Grossman Group, which grew out of an architecture firm he founded in Bühl (Baden) in 1990. His success as an architect and entrepreneur is the result of a combination of creativity and pragmatism.
The businessman Jürgen Grossmann is a mover and doer who is at home on any construction site. His passion for building is contagious and charismatic. Grossmanns ideas have been realised all over the world - for example in abu dhabi, beijing, sofia, strasbourg and bagdad.
Practically no one else knows the real estate market in the southern part of germany as well as he does. His unique abilities as a project developer have been demonstrated time and again with properties that most considered unmanageable: Kehl train station, the Illenau in Achern, the Villa Netter in Bühl, the conversion of the Lahr Barracks, or Rittersbach Castle.
The architect Grossman sees aesthetics and economics as simply two sides of the same coin. His blueprints are striking, bold, and visionary, while demonstrating careful craft and artistry in each detail. Construction without architectural achievement: that is something he simply cannot imagine.
Jürgen Grossmann was born in 1962 in Baden-Baden and studied architecture in Paris and Karlsruhe. He is married and lives in Schutterwald, near Offenburg. The Grossman family is civically engaged throughout the region and created a new foundation in 2010 to support their activities. To balance his activities in the office, Jürgen Grossmann enjoys spending time in nature.
